Kayaking

A few days ago we took our old fibreglass kayaks that my Grandad made about forty odd years ago and they are still going strong now!

Lola

Me in a Lola

Me in a Lola

On the 28th of October we had a tour of the Lola factory in Huntingdon. It was surprising  how much stuff they made.

I learnt about the monocoque, which is where the driver sits, it is made out of  carbon fibre and is about the size of a dinner table and the weight is about 80kg.

I also saw the wind tunnel which was from the war. It was only a 50%  size, but it was still massive.

I also saw what would have been a 2010 F1 car, but LOLA were rejected by the FIA.

Florida

In June I went to Florida for a holiday. It was great fun, The temperature was 36 degrees. We had a villa with our own pool, most mornings I would have a swim before breakfast! I went to Kennedy space center, it was HUGE!!! I went on a water slide that I hat to go on by myself because Mum and Dave were to scared of the drop on it
