I had great fun a week ago riding around a rather soggy field in my next door neighbour’s (Chloe) 39cc petrol powered Mini bug.

Lancaster Bomber

On Tuesday I went to see the only remaining flying Lancaster bomber in Europe at RAF Conningsby and had a guided tour by its pilot. I also saw 5 Spitfires, 2 Hurricanes and a Dakota (all airworthy).
I sat in a Spitfire that flew in the Battle of Britain and sat in the cockpit, rear gun turret and bomber position of the Lancaster.
