The Lake District

In October 2003 I went for a long weekend on holiday with my Daddy to the Lake District. After getting stuck in a long traffic jam, we eventually got to Blackpool where we went to the pleasure beach, saw the illuminations and I had a ride on a tram!

The following day we went to Lake Windermere via a car ferry pulled by wires across the lake. We then went on a boat trip all around the lake.

On the last day we went to the Haverthwaite Steam Railway near Lake Windermere, where we had a trip on a steam train.

The following are photographs of my holiday. Click on a thumbnail to show a larger image.

What theme are you using here ? I like the design. Thanks for the post.

The theme was actually one that my Dad knocked up for me himself.
