After getting stuck in a long traffic jam, we eventually got to  Blackpool where we went to the pleasure beach, saw the illuminations and I had a  ride on a tram!<\/p>\n<p>The following day we went to Lake Windermere via a car ferry pulled by wires  across the lake. We then went on a boat trip all around the lake.<\/p>\n<p>On the last day we went to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lakesiderailway.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Haverthwaite Steam Railway<\/a> near Lake Windermere, where we had  a trip on a steam train.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The following are photographs of my holiday.
